We ask everyones favourite over-sized human Chris James what 3 waves he hasn’t yet surfed but wants to. Here it is from the horses mouth:
1. Skeleton Bay. Located deep in the desert of Namibia Africa, Skeleton Bay is hands down one of the best left hand point breaks in the world. Having received a huge deal of media attention over the past 2 years, it is hard to believe Skeleton Bay is a sand bottom point break. Photo: Greg Ewing
2. Apocalypse. Found in Indonesia, Apocalypse is a super quick reeling right hander which is undoubtedly one of the worlds best closeouts. Photogenic as hell and appealing to the untrained eye, Apocalypse as the the name suggests packs a punch with an end of the world style beat down awaiting the rider just a 100 meters down the line. You may remember this wave from the cover of Riptide Issue #188.
3. Greenbush. Also located in Indonesia, Greenbush is a flawless left hand reef break which is predominately ruled by Surfers. Despite Greenbush being super functional for the lid, maybe its time we see Griz enjoy the barrels and bowls of the bush. Photo: Joao Bracourt.
